Madhusmita Jena is all set to contest in the Mrs. India Worldwide 2021 which is slated to be held in Dubai.
Madhusmita made it to the upcoming finale of the Beauty pageant after contesting with 27 other participants at Hotel Hindusthan international on April 4 in Bhubaneswar.
“I am giving my 100% for my preparation for the finale to bring this year’s Beauty pageant crown for my state,” Madhushmita said.
“This haut monde International contest is a platform that recognises the exemplary strength and distinctive personality of wives and mothers of India. So, the contest was judged not only on the basis of physical appearance but also by IQ levels, spontaneity, fitness and overall smart ness”, she said.
Born in Jajpur district of Odisha, Madhusmita has spent her entire childhood and educational life in Bhubaneswar. She is now working as an IT professional at an MNC at Bangluru.
“I had always heard people saying that once a girl is married, she won’t be able to do anything else. So, if you dream of a career, especially in modelling, try your luck before getting married. I always thought of changing that mentality,” the Mrs. India Worldwide 2021 finalist said.
Madhusmita started her modelling career when she was continuing her bachelor degree in Bhadrak Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET).
“While working with famous costume designers, luckily, I came in contact with popular fashion designer and founder of Ramuli Creation, Ramakishna Pattnaik. He is not just a designer but a mentor to me,” she said.
Madhusmita further added, “I don’t know how Mr Ramakishna recognised my talent, but he guided me to participate in the state and national level beauty contests.”

Before the 11th edition of Mrs. India Worldwide happened, Madhusmita was a finalist in the Opera Mrs India Global 2020, where she sashed Mrs Rampwalk.
Madhusmita has been in the modelling profession from the last 5 years.
“My husband and my family members are very supportive. They never hesitated nor had second thoughts in supporting my modelling career. Infact, my husband always keeps telling me, ‘You go ahead I will manage’,” she said.
Madhusmita further gave a motivating advice saying, “If you have a dream you can definitely achieve it. For that, you have to focus right and work hard, without excuses.”
Apart from modelling, Madhusmita is also a professional Odissi dancer. She aspires to be a part of Ollywood Industry.
Notably, the Semi Finale and Grand Finale of Mrs, India Worldwide 2021 will held in the month of October.
